Alex joined Aurum Research Limited ("ARL") in 2002 as an Analyst in the Investment Research team. Alex has expertise in a wide range of hedge fund strategies and currently covers macro and multi strategy managers. Alex is involved in the monthly trading and cash management process. Prior to joining ARL Alex worked as a project manager for Atlas Cement Technology & Management Ltd focusing on engineering projects in EMEA. In 2000 he worked as an analyst and assistant portfolio manager at a family office in Athens, Greece, investing in equities and derivatives in the USA. Alex brings along solid experience in fund of hedge funds due diligence and portfolio management as well as good knowledge of real assets and frontier markets. Alex graduated Cum Laude from George Washington University in Washington DC with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Alex is a CAIA charter holder.
