Charles joined in February 2015 to expand the operational due diligence capabilities of ARL. He is responsible for conducting operational due diligence on hedge funds and UCITS funds as part of the manager selection process and for ongoing monitoring of invested funds. Prior to joining ARL, Charles was an investment management risk consultant at KPMG from 2013 to 2015. His role involved performing compliance reviews, assurance reviews (ISAE 3402, CASS and AAF), risk assessments and process/control reviews. While at KPMG, he was involved in projects in the investment management sector, working on-site at asset managers, private equity (fund of funds), wealth managers and fund administrators. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. He is currently studying towards the CFA level 3.
