Barrie graduated from Solent University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business Studies in 2002 before being accepted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2008. Barrie was appointed as a Director of Aurum Funds Limited in June 2016, prior to which he held financial control and financial management roles within Aurum Research Limited in the UK and with other financial services firms in the fields of asset management, structured products and investment banking.
