Adam Sweidan wins Hedge Funds Review Editor’s choice award

“It is with great pleasure that I congratulate Adam Sweidan on winning the Hedge Funds Review Editor’s choice award for outstanding contribution to promotion of ESG and SRI within the hedge fund industry. Having worked with Adam for many years, I am very aware of his passion for conservation of the environment and the importance of humanity working in harmony with nature. His drive and enthusiasm naturally radiate to those around him encouraging them to get involved and make a difference.
Back in 1995 Adam formed a partnership with his wife, Jessica Sweidan, to create a philanthropic foundation, Synchronicity Foundation. In 2007, they began exploring how to have a greater impact within the conservation realm, and decided to start a new charity, Synchronicity Earth, which launched in November 2009. Having seen Synchronicity Earth develop and broaden the work it undertakes, my partners and I are extremely proud of Adam’s work. Aurum Fund Management Ltd. are also pleased to have been able to donate towards the running costs of the charity from the management fees we collect from one of our Embedded Impact® Solutions.
Adam is now an IUCN Patron of Nature and an Honorary Conservation Fellow at the Zoological Society of London and has been able to promote ESG issues within the industry via articles in industry press, presentations at industry events and ongoing meetings and dialogue with industry participants.
Knowing Adam as I do, he will continue to push his own and the industry’s boundaries to mobilise action towards solving the world’s environmental conservation and regeneration issues.’’
